November 7, 2016, Northbrook, IL, USA -- The memberships of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, and the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International (ARCSI) voted to approve the resolution to merge. As approved by the memberships, the merger becomes effective January 1, 2017, and ARCSI will be officially known as “ARCSI, A Division of ISSA.”

The capacity reductions are planned to take place in Austria and Germany. UPM plans to permanently close two paper machines: SC paper machine 3 at UPM Steyrermühl, Austria and SC paper machine 2 at UPM Augsburg, Germany.

Adjusted operating profit, excluding currency translation effects, acquisitions and divestments, showed continued favorable growth, and the adjusted operating margin rose.
